Friends of LBF Adaptive Lessons- pay by session
Therapeutic horseback riding allows participants to learn horseback riding skills in a safe, structured and supportive environment. During each lesson, participants are paired with an instructor, volunteers, and a horse to suit their individual needs.
Benefits: Life skills such as self-regulation, and riding skills that may include use of reins and other aids while maintaining a centered position on the horse. Participants also experience emotional benefits from riding, such as feelings of self-confidence, independence and accomplishment.

Lesson Payment & Missed Classes Policy
Session Billing
- Lessons must be paid for before each session begins in order to hold your spt.
Attendance & Rescheduling
- Missed lessons will be forfeited. As with most instructional programs, session tuition reserves your rider’s weekly spot, including instructor time, volunteer time and horse use, regardless of attendance.
Farm Cancellations
- If we cancel a lesson due to weather or instructor availability, a credit will be provided. As always, we often continue learning in a different format, including unmounted or barn-based lessons, depending on conditions.
We understand that schedules can be busy, and we recognize that this may be challenging. We truly appreciate your understanding and support.
